"Because LOVE wounds and inflames the HEART."

Cupid in Latin Cupido means "desire". He is also known in Latin as Amore means "love". His iconography acquired the bow and arrow that represent his source of power. Who is shot by Cupid's arrow is filled with uncontrollable desire.

So who does not want that especially from someone we really like. We have our own Love Arrows to share and we won't be shooting them but giving them away and hopefully the myth and magic to desire and love HAPPENS!

Here we are making Love Arrow. Left over craft papers and sticks we had in stock. If you guys followed our wreath project last December you wold recognize the twine we used here.

After we had so much fun doing that wood burn project on the kitchen wooden utensil we had to take out our burn tool again and do it's magic over these popsicle sticks.

Time to assemble all these and make some Love Arrows!

Here we are finally shooting Love Arrows.

Oops...we are not done yet. We need a bag for these arrows just like how cupid slings it around his body.

We have got that perfect Love Arrows to share.
This project left us LOVE STRUCK as well.
Happy Valentine's Day!

We hope LOVE is in the air and we are able to inspire you to do your own creations.

Simple Rustic Wood burning art perfect for Halloween

If you have seen our previous wood burning projects- we promise a series and this is the 3rd blog which we posted that explores creativity using our wood burning tool.

Wood Art has been a theme in our creative world.  For halloween we thought these silhouette design was perfect! This week we dug out our pantry to check out other materials we can put our creativity on. And we found these plain cork trivets that was just easy and cheap to work with.

Check out our before and after project.
The cork material is very rustic as it is - so we thought to enhance with a simple nature yet halloween-ish feel design.
We made a silhouette design that spans across 3 cork trivets to form a continuing design.

Wood burning art is definitely something fun to explore. Definitely a project for people who loves silhouette art and/or black and white art. The creative possibilities is definitely infinite.
Personalize it. Share it. Love it. Happy Halloween!

If you like any of these art pieces do send us a message. We can custom make these for you.
We hope this some how inspired you to find something around your house and revive it to something hip and hallow-riffic fun. Sometimes all we needs is just a little inspiration.

Live Inspired

Live INSPIRED. It is our mantra. Everything we can find around us that we can put our hands into is what makes each day fun. This project is a series of crafts so do watch out for it.

We took a plain crate - a newly bought one that was intended for storage but we found it needed some love and character.

So we brought out our wood burner. Printed our mantra on a piece of paper and trace it on to the front panel of the crate.
Took a bit of time and steady hands but it was worth the work.

Added some details on the side of the crate as well. :)

Hang those Jewelry!

From trash to treasure. This wooden artist manikin that we use for our sketches just lost a foot. Well the team did not hesitate to get their creative juices going and turn what suppose to be trash into a beautiful treasure.  Who would have thought this would turn out to be an awesome Jewelry Organizer.
We gave the freaky looking one foot wooden manikin a new look and took out the other foot as well so it looks a bit normal. :) Next is away we go trigger happy with our black spray can of paint.

We needed to dress this (now black wooden manikin) to showcase the jewelry and a place to hang does earrings. With a bit of stitching and gluing and debating which color will make the jewelry pop out...here it is the finished Wooden jewelry holder.

Move the arms in any position you like depending on how you're feeling today or what your mood is like. It holds and it works. I think the neat freak bug just took a bite on us and looks like we are come up with more organizing projects.

We love the retro look of this Jewelry Hanger.

Holds earrings too!

An Artist Must have

What started out to be a toiletry pouch has transformed in to our Urban Artist Pouch.
Check out our before and after project.

BEFORE

AFTER

We took out our fabric paint and stencils. Covered that photo with a more crafty and hip design.
We love the look plus it holds all our pens and brushes and other artist tools.

We are all about turning something old to something new.
Love it. Live inspired. Share it.
