Christmas Gift Tags

We caught ourselves several times needing to add more gifts to pack for suppliers gifts. And we ran out of gift tags! So we though it will be nice to share this simple and quick tags we came up with.

Am sure all of has have that LAST MINUTE Christmas gift that needs to wrap, and find ourself searching for excess gift tags.

For this project we have a square, circle and oval templates to share (click here for the free template). Feel free to choose which fits your taste and download for free.  You will just need some string or twine or 1/16" ribbon. Nice plain paper (any color of your choice), cutting tool, single hole puncher, stamps and black ink pad.
We use a simple pine cutting tool and a simple To: and From stamp. You can also use a Merry Christmas stamp if you have one handy in your craft supplies. Quick dry ink pad is very important so you can assemble the tags quickly and not wait for things to dry.
To craft this quickly we always recommend to have all materials ready before you start. All paper - cut up to size and strings- cut to length. We started punching out our paper with the pine leaf image on each top paper. Tip: use a lighter color for the card that you will be stamping on and the darker colored paper is the darker shade. Next, start stamping on the lighter colored paper. Align the two cards one on top of the other and mark where the single puncher will be punched. Make sure to punch the two cards at the same time to ensure both are aligned. Take your string and string through the single punch hole. Make a knot and attached to your gift.

Voila! It is really that simple. Perfect for last minute gift tags.

Other tags that we built you can see in our photo below - we use embossing inks to make them. We will be posting some craft using this tool in 2016. For now this photo is just to inspire you to build your own gift tags.

We would love to see what your have done share them on instagram #OhJoyand Co or on our FB!
