A Crafty Party with Cribs Foundation

Celebrating and having fun at parties is something everybody loves to do, and we realized crafting is the perfect activity to add joy to these parties. People don’t just get to have fun making crafts, but also interact and exchange creative ideas.

We’re very happy to share an amazing crafty party with the creative little girls of Cribs Foundation! When creative minds are collaborating and you see kids happily interacting and exchanging ideas, what else can we say but Oh Joy!

You’re probably thinking “what’s a crafty party?” It’s a party where everything and everyone interacts. Tables shout “Hey! It’s crafting time!”, and it’s a fun experience to get everybody crafting.

For the 7-year-old girls of Cribs Foundation, all the we made are for school and organizing. We also made sure they're simple and easy to make (yet beautiful, of course) so the kids can have a fun and easy time making them.

Our little crafter, Marty, who celebrated his birthday with the girls of Cribs Foundation is our teacher! Marty wanted to teach on his birthday and anyone can be a little crafter!

Our master crafters start to teach everyone different crafts, and share how simple crafting materials can be used to make anything look special.

Here’s what our crafters made:
Envelopes - these colorful envelopes are wonderful and functional, you can stick it at the back of your notebook. It doubles as an organizer for quizzes, notes, and knickknacks of course.
Decorated Pens and Pencils - we’re glad washi tapes and book wrapping papers exist! Wrapping things with tapes and book wraps is fast and easy, you’ll want to wrap all your pencils at home. You can use washi tapes to decorate almost anything.
Paper Clip Bookmarks - did you ever do this as a kid? It’s amazing how easy it is to make your own bookmark using paper clips, ribbons/washi tapes.

Here’s a glimpse of how the crafty party went. It was fun seeing a party of creative ideas, seeing these girls share their thoughts and smile at the craft they made because they know they made something beautiful out of very simple materials.

We’re also sharing a tutorial on how to make all these crafts real soon, so watch out for that!

I want to throw my own crafty party!

That sounds great! We love creating ideas, collaborating with other creative people, and impARTing skills. We can’t wait to work on a creative concept/theme for a Crafty Party with you. Let us know what we can do for you at craft.ohjoyandco@gmail.com.
