Easter is a day to celebrate a new beginning! For the kids it is all about doing some Easter egg hunt! Most families gather in malls and hotels or country clubs to celebrate Easter with the kids in the metropolis. It is also the time when new blooms come out and birds and small animals start to come out from hibernation. Little bunnies starts leaping out of our backyards and humming birds gathering the sweet nectars of fresh blooms.
So we thought maybe some crafting for Easter might stir up some nice leaping 'awwws....' and "ohhhhs..' for kids, moms and owners of establishments who might want to check out these crafts and get into the leaping spirit of a new beginning.
Making this cute and adorable bunny with that puffy tail and long legs sprouting out a glass will make you awww…and say hello to the little bunny :)
Amazingly this is an easy craft to do with your kids.
For the bunny you will just need some cotton and glue. For the bunny feet you will need some white and pink felt fabric, scissors, glue gun and glue stick.
For the glass some nice washi tape and cut up tissue paper to decorate. Any drinking glass will work for this craft.
First, cut and assemble the feet of the bunny by using felt fabric. You can download the bunny feet template by clicking here. Once you are done, take your cotton and form a big cotton ball (about 3 inches to 4 inches in diameter depending on the opening or mouth of your drinking glass) and a small cotton ball (about 1 inch in diameter) to be glued on the big cotton ball (this will be the tail of the bunny). After which - glue the feet of the bunny into the big cotton ball.
Cut out the washi tape to the length you would need to decorate your glass. We taped ours vertically and alternate it with different washi tape patters.
To assemble simple place some green and white tissue paper (that has been cut to thin stripes). Have some hanging off the edge of the drinking glass. Place the assembled bunny in to the glass.
I have to say it is mighty cute! And a perfect giveaway for your Easter Celebration.
